Appendix . Postscript: how is Redcup doing?

My publishers thought you would be interested to learn how Redcup is doing and I’m delighted to answer this question with just two words – VERY WELL.

In the first year Redcup exceeded its sales and profit targets by over 50% and is set to repeat this in its second year. It has added several different machines to the Redcup collection which means that more companies of different sizes can get the benefit of “Starbucks in their office”.

Plans for next year include machines which allow both decaffeinated and regular beans to be utilised at the same time (although not in the same cup!), desktop machines and machines which supply other fresh beverages including tea and hot chocolate.
