As Blake continued to forge a new heart, other things in his life changed as well …
Things at work got better—a lot better. Blake was asked to lead a new team. It was a lateral move, but it was important work. It gave Blake an even better opportunity to serve the organization and the people on his team. The biggest change, however, was not the work; the biggest change was in Blake.
Although work was still an important part of Blake’s life, life was much more fulfilling for him at home. He was becoming his old self—the one that Megan had fallen in love with years before. He and Megan were once again doing life together.
