As I mentioned in Chapter 1, musicians have a unique sphere of influence in changing and affecting social issues—including the issues of sustainability and climate change, which, as most of us realize, are two of the biggest issues mankind is facing today. You can bring about this influence through interaction with peers, band members, suppliers, partners, fans, and other organizations. To truly create any lasting impact, however, the desire to change must graduate to the willingness to implement change. Obviously, you can’t implement this change independently; it requires an entire ecosystem of individuals and organizations that share a common concern.
