Chapter 3. RESPECT

Not every suggestion I've made over the years has been implemented—but I've always felt like I was heard and I've always felt like I was empowered to share the feedback. Heck, my current position and the one before that are jobs that I basically created because I saw an essential issue that needed to be addressed. Both times, a department has grown up out of it and is still in operation.
