Warren Buffett is Chairman and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway, a company through which he has pursued his extraordinarily successful investment career, investing in everything from chocolate to furniture to jewellery to newspapers. In 2008 he was listed by Forbes as the world’s richest man with a fortune of $62 billion, an outstanding success story, achieved by shrewd investments during a career that has spanned over 60 years and earned him the nicknames ‘Oracle of Omaha’ and ‘Sage of Omaha’.
