9. Settings

Google+ has several settings that you can personalize. You can tell Google+ what notifications you want to receive, where you want to receive them, and who can message you, and you can even set a privacy level when you +1 non-Google sites. I cover all this, as well as how to export your data from Google+, in this chapter.

Google+ Settings

The first thing you need to know is how to access your Google+ settings:

1. Log in to Google+.

2. Click the gear icon at the far-right end of the black Plus bar at the top of your browser window.

3. In the menu that appears, click the Google+ Settings link (Figure 9.1).
