Many undertakings in life turn out to be substantially more complex than we imagined them to be at the outset. So it has been with the Geometric Supposer, an educational innovation that has had an important impact on mathematics education in the last half decade. Developing and using the Supposer as an educational tool has forced us to face and think about many unexpected entailments and consequences of our work.
