The Benefits of Becoming an eBay PowerSeller

According to eBay, Powersellers rank among the most successful sellers on eBay for sales and customer satisfaction. The Powerseller’s icon is placed next to each Powerseller’s member ID which means the seller meets the criteria for being a Powerseller. The criteria include consistent sales volume, a rating of 98% or above for total positive feedback, eBay marketplace policy compliance, an account in good financial standing and a detailed seller rating (DSR) of 4.5 or higher in all four DSRs. You will also need to sell a minimum of 100 items with feedback in order to apply. If a seller no longer complies with any one of the above requirements, they are removed from the program.

When a bidder sees the Powerseller icon in any auction, the bidder can be assured they will be dealing with someone who has earned a stellar reputation on the website. From eBay’s website, the Powerseller program benefits include:

Prioritized Customer Service—Depending on a seller’s level of sales, Powersellers receive prioritized support by e-mail or telephone.
Powerseller Fee Discounts—As a reward for excellent customer service, Powersellers with high DSRs over the past 30 days will receive discounts on final value fees for their prior month’s sales.
Unpaid Item Protection—Powersellers receive a credit for any feature ...
