3-D Card A sports trading card that appears to be three-dimensional (3-D) when it is moved or tilted.

9-Up Sheets Uncut sh eets imprinted with nine cards, usually used as promos. A term commonly used with sports and trading cards.

About Good Refers to a coin with a grade of AG-3.

About Uncirculated (1) Coins with grades of AU-50, AU-53, AU-55 and AU-58 on the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) Grades and Grading Terms scale. (2) A coin that, at first glance, appears uncirculated, but upon closer inspection has slight friction or rub.

Abraded Corner The grinding of a corner area on a comic book caused by improper handling or storage.

Absentee Bid When this type of bid is allowed at an auction, a person can bid on any item without actually attending the event. The buyer submits in advance a written or oral bid that is the top price he/she will pay for a given auction item. Only the auctioneer knows this amount and the bid amount is kept private. The auctioneer bids on behalf of the absentee bidder until the buyer either wins the auction item or when the absentee buyer’s maximum bid is exceeded.

Absolute Auction An auction where property is sold to the highest qualified bidder with no limiting conditions.

Accessory Pack A set of accessories, typically intended for a specific line of action figures and/or toys, which come packaged by themselves instead of with an individual action figure and/or toy.
