Mahatma Gandhi once said that we must be the change we wish to see in the world. I agree — before we go messing around with the game for others, we need to lift our own game.

I say this because it's so much easier to make recommendations on what others should do to solve their problems. It gets harder when we're dealing with our own challenges. This is partly because we can be objective about others. We can see the bigger picture and offer advice from a different perspective.
