David R. Williams is Associate Professor and Program Director of the Health Care Management Program at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, USA. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. He has senior executive experience with not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare firms. Dr. Williams has a Ph.D. in Administration – Health Services from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Masters in Business and Health Administration from Georgia State University, and a B.A. degree from Wofford College.
