Performing to plan

In this chapter

You have selected your key performance indicators (KPIs) and set your milestones. Now you need to perform to plan.

The progress you make needs to be monitored on a regular basis, at least for each board meeting.

And that monitoring process will assist in the semi-annual performance review of your key managers.

Later on, having monitored progress against the plan for a couple of years, you may choose to set aside time to evaluate it properly. There will for sure be lessons to be learnt for the next time you have to write a business plan.
