CONFRONTATION
By the time Rich arrived back at his office for the meeting, Jamie was there waiting for him. Like most people who didn’t understand Rich, he was always struck by the simple, unimpressive nature of his CEO’s office. It diminished his boss’s stature in Jamie’s eyes.
 
Rich sat down at the wooden conference table where Jamie was seated, and began. “Jamie, this isn’t going to be an easy conversation.” Rich steeled himself and looked directly at his VP of HR, who seemed surprised at first, but almost immediately regained his composure.
