Tame Blame and Shame: A Ramp to Resilience

The interesting thing about being human is our ability to screw up, fall back to old habits, and fail. But that’s what makes us so spectacular. We can get back up and do some serious loin girding. (Note to reader: I threw that in because it makes me laugh. I remember hearing the expression “girding your loins” when I was a kid and it always cracked me up. Even after I figured out what it meant, it still made me laugh. Welcome to my sense of humor.) Our innate ability to hit the reset button and start again allows us to find our inner strength and the determination to reach our goals.
