A couple of weeks later, J.C.’s office phone rang at 7:19 p.m. It was his strategic partner and colleague, Allison Centarus. When he heard the high pitch of her voice, J.C. knew that it was important. “J.C., I need to see you tonight. Liz is out of town, but I’ve got to talk to you today.”
