Dealing with Negative Coworkers

We all know these people. You comment that it’s a beautiful day, and Jennifer complains about the high pollen count. Bob excitedly tells about last night’s win for the home team, and Derek reminds everyone that they will surely choke in the playoffs.

At work, you bring in a new customer or client, and a staff member complains about how much extra work the new account will create. Negativity, whether it’s in the workplace or in our personal relationships, can be exhausting, depressing, and often contagious.
