65. The Etiquette of Talking to Your Phone

When my book The Jerk with the Cell Phone (Marlowe & Company) was published nearly a decade ago, etiquette guidelines for talking to your phone were not relevant. The world has changed a lot in that time, and guidelines are now needed to help people talk politely to their phones in public.

I asked Apple’s Siri for her opinion. My question was this: “What are the etiquette suggestions for talking to your phone?” Alas, she didn’t have an answer and referred me to the Internet.
