41. DON’T MISS YOUR CUE!

How would you feel if after paying $150 dollars to go to a concert in New York City, five minutes before the show was supposed to start you saw actresses running in, props still being set up, and no one ready to perform? You would probably feel disappointed and unimpressed. It’s the same thing when you are conducting a digital interview. You must be ready to go well before “showtime.” You need to be set up, organized, and mentally and physically ready. You can’t just be hanging out, looking around your office or playing solitaire on your computer, and then suddenly the interviewer calls in and catches you looking unprepared and unprofessional.
