40. SHOWSTOPPERS

On Broadway there is a saying that the show must go on. For your digital job interviews, I say the show only goes on when you are ready; if you are not ready, you have a showstopper. A showstopper is anything that prevents you from conducting your digital job interview in the most professional, creative, and optimal way, such that you are the most attractive candidate for the position you are trying to obtain.

A showstopper can be anything from having the measles to the fact that your Internet connection just went down. Any issue that you cannot fix or address prior to the interview is a showstopper.
