30. NO EDITING CREW

You have read about some similarities between digital interviews and movie casts/Broadway actors and actresses, but now you’re going to learn about something that is different. In your digital interview you have no cast and no editing crew. You are the star and you share the spotlight with only one other person—your costar, the hiring manager. So remember, your interview is what it is, and there’s no going back for do-over’s. No matter how hard you try, it is impossible to go back in time, so remember that there is no editing crew waiting in the wings. Whatever happens, happens. You don’t have the luxury of having an editing team go back and review your interview. You need to be on your A-game every single time.
