16. ON-AIR SIGN

Studios throughout Hollywood have them, radio shows have them, and you need one for your digital interview. I’m talking about an On-Air sign. It’s better to be safe than sorry. The last thing you want is someone walking into the room, calling your name, or rustling through papers in the background as you give your interview. Do everything in your power to make sure you have no interruptions during your interviews. An easy way to accomplish this is to create a makeshift On-Air sign to be placed on the closed door of your interview room/studio so everyone knows you shouldn’t be disturbed.
