10. A TRIPOD IS YOUR FRIEND

When I was a kid, my sister was really into photography. She loved to take pictures of everything, and one of the key pieces of equipment she used was a tripod. She even had all the chemicals to develop her own film (by the way, this was before digital cameras, so instead of sending out her film, she created her own little darkroom). She had several different camera lenses, film cases, essentially everything she needed to be a brilliant photographer. But she insisted she needed that tripod above all else.
