9. CLEAN YOUR CAMERA LENS

You want to look your best during your digital interviews. Interviewers should be able to see you clearly without any distractions. A big part of this involves removing all smudges, dirt, and dust from your camera lens prior to each interview.

When I take my son, Connor, to watch the Red Sox at Fenway Park, we usually get there an hour early to watch batting practice. Every time we’re there, I always see the NESN TV cameraman cleaning his camera lens. The last time we were there he must have cleaned the lens at least 12 times.
