6. What the Kernel Can Do for You
As a software professional, you want to create great software quickly. You want to deal flexibly with challenges as they appear. As you advance in your career, you want to take on new, larger challenges, learn new domains and technologies, and apply new practices and methods (see Figure 6-1).
