Here are some tips for keeping your momentum going when you are in the flow:

Manage your interruptions

Interruptions are one of the most annoying barriers to productivity. They are a part of life and a necessary evil at work. It has been proven that each time you are interrupted it takes 5–6 minutes to settle back into what you were doing and get back to the same momentum. If you work in a high interruption environment, then this can easily add an extra hour or two to your day, especially when you add the actual time of the interruption. The more we control our interruptions, the better. I suggest creating some designated time when everyone in the office knows you cannot be interrupted, even if you set aside only 30 minutes. ...
