I used to think of myself as a morning person. I could never work after 9pm. In fact, my best working hours were between 9am and 1pm. After lunch, my performance went downhill. As soon as 9pm hit, I would become tired and find it hard to concentrate. It would take me twice as long to complete a project as when I was working at my peak. Once I learnt the secret of tiredness and energy, I noticed that whenever I felt tired, I would experience associated, recurring thoughts of being tired. A mentor once told me that tiredness was psychological, but it took me a few years to listen to this advice and believe it for myself.
