GETTING QUALITY SLEEP

Given the debate on how much sleep we need, let’s focus on the quality, not the quantity. Here are the key factors to getting quality sleep.

Relaxation

The main factor preventing quality sleep is going to bed when either your mind is too busy or your body is not relaxed. Anything that stimulates mental activity, such as worrying, watching an intense film or surfing the net can put your brain into a highly active state which is not conducive to a good night’s rest.
