Chi flow

If during the breathing exercises you noticed the sensation of breathing beyond the physical capacity of your lungs, you’ll have experienced some of what we are about to do next. If not, this exercise will train you.

  1. Begin by doing the deep-breathing exercises.
  2. Now, become aware of your body. Wherever you have tension, imagine yourself breathing into that area. Imagine a channel opening up from your lungs to the tense area so that each time you breathe, your breath (or chi energy) will be directed there. Put another way, imagine that you can breathe all the way into the affected area and allow the breath to travel there.
  3. As the breath comes to this area, let the body part relax and allow the chi to flow into the area, ...
