Rick Lindquist

Rick Lindquist is a writer, entrepreneur, and investor and the President of Zane Benefits, Inc. (see www.zanebenefits.com).

He earned his BS in Economics and his BA in computer science from Duke University in 2007. Lindquist joined Zane Benefits as its thirteenth employee in 2007, and became director of sales in 2009 and president in 2011.

Zane Benefits provides innovative healthcare solutions that save businesses time and money while ensuring employees have access to better health insurance options at a lower cost.

As president, Lindquist has been responsible for the development of the firm's flagship product, ZaneHealth, which helps employers ensure compliance with IRS, ERISA, and HIPAA regulations and the market reforms of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Lindquist is a sought-after speaker and reference for his expertise on defined contribution health plans.

In June of 2014, Lindquist was featured in an article on the front page of The New York Times small business section explaining how Zane Benefits' software addresses the challenges small businesses face in offering compliant health insurance solutions. Zane Benefits has also been featured on the front page of The Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
