Deciding Whether to Fight or Settle

The easiest advice an attorney can give is “Don’t do that,” urging you not to act on a particular matter. Do not settle for an attorney who gives you such advice if it goes against your own instincts, unless he can articulate clearly and persuasively exactly why you should not act. The attorney should be aggressive in helping you rid yourself of troublesome employees. When he recommends that you not discipline an employee, he should be able to give you guidance on how to proceed to reach your goal.
