The Insubordinate Employee

The insubordinate employee needs to be put in his place fast. There is no reason to tolerate an angry, in-your-face worker who verbally abuses supervisors or management with profane or obscene remarks. Employees may also engage in other overly confrontational acts or conduct that also warrant discipline.

This type of person is essentially a bully whose behavior cannot be permitted to continue unhindered. Any supervisor who falls victim to such an individual should receive immediate support in documenting what has occurred.
