How the Policy Works

Counseling and disciplinary action will be taken whenever an employee’s absences and/or tardy and leave early events exceed the allowable point level in the designated time frame. AWOLs will be assessed 2 points, absences with report will be assessed 1 point, and tardiness and leaving early will each be assessed ½ point.

The table below indicates the appropriate action to be taken when an employee reaches the level shown within any consecutive twelve-month period.[*] (Note that you must insert in the table the point levels you determine to be appropriate.)
