Basic Obligations

You are expected to notify ________________ [insert name of person] of any absence or tardiness as soon as possible. Reports are to be made each day an absence or tardiness occurs. Unreported absences or tardy events will be treated as an “absence without leave” (AWOL) and considered a serious violation of policy. If it becomes necessary to leave early, you should notify your supervisor as soon as the need becomes known. Notice should be made by the employee. Notice from other persons will not be accepted if the employee was physically able to make the notification.
