In the world of conventional film photography, the photographer’s responsibility in terms of the final image creation ended more or less with composition and accurate exposure. Processing the film and handling the printing was usually done via trusted and reputable third parties, but with digital imaging all that has changed. Today’s photographer must now be fully acquainted with a whole new raft of digital steps and techniques to ensure images appear as they should.
