“Do you know Aidan from Team Predator?” you ask.
“Sure! He joined a year ago. I voted for us to hire him,” says Matt. “Why do you ask?”
You explain you think it would be good for the two of them to spend a bit of time together to exchange their skills, knowledge, and experience. You add that Aidan seems to know a lot about the latest technologies and technical practices that may prove useful to the Dream Team.
Matt goes quiet.
The moment passes, and he says quietly, “I’ll see if I can have a word with Aidan before the team gets in.”
Before Matt leaves the team space, he turns around and says, “Thanks for the suggestion. Let’s hope this old dog isn’t too old to learn some new tricks!”
