When the two of you arrive in the team space, the only people around are Jason and Matt. Those two are the early birds of the team. Patrick greets them both, then offers to buy Jason a coffee.
After they’re gone, Matt comes over to your desk. “How are we doing in terms of the schedule for these five days?” he asks.
“We’re a day behind the original plan, but there’s some slack. So long as we do the project retrospective today, we should still have enough time to come up with a plan to help the team move forward.”
Matt seems uncertain and asks you to clarify the scope and success criteria of the work agreed on between you and Patrick.
