It’s Day 3, and it’s time for your daily catch-up with Patrick.
Patrick says, “I hear you’ve caused quite a bit of commotion in the team since your arrival.”
You want to explain but wait for him to finish.
“‘That’s why we hired you,’ is what I told Jason,” says Patrick with a smile.
You update Patrick on the events of yesterday, including the confrontation between Jason, yourself, and the team. You also tell him that you had a one-on-one conversation with Jason shortly afterward, and it remains unclear if Jason is supportive of what you are trying to achieve.
