You respect Cassandra’s views of agile and thank her for the feedback on the team space. You know that Cassandra has a background in lean and six sigma, so you begin by emphasizing the link between those two approaches and agile to establish a common understanding between you and Cassandra.

“Agile has been heavily inspired by lean,” you explain. “Agile, like lean, optimizes the value chain by eliminating waste. Agile also focuses on business value to ensure that whatever we do is of value to the end customer and the organization.”
