Retrospect

“Before we end this session, let’s take a vote on how the retrospective has gone using estimation poker,” you say.

Instead of using fingers on only one hand, this time you ask everyone to vote out of ten using both hands. As they say, variety is the spice of life. Also, the larger range gives people a chance to be more expressive with the number they choose.

You explain that a ten means “That was excellent and worthwhile; I’m glad I participated.” And a zero means “That was an utter waste of time. I’m a celebrity; get me out of here!”

Everyone holds up both fists when they’re ready to vote.
