One of the reasons you enjoy having team one-on-ones is because it helps you gain new insights into people and their situations. Nancy, who’s passionate about testing, surprises you with a few choice questions during the Ice Breaker section of her one-on-one with you.
“I can ask you whatever I like?” says Nancy with a big smile. You nod and she volunteers to go first. “So what’s your favorite hobby?” Nancy asks.
”I run at least three times a week. I’ve run a few 10k races. I plan to run a marathon one day,” you reply.
“Why do you run?” asks Nancy.
“Because it helps me relax and think more clearly about things.”
“Any other reasons?” continues Nancy.
“It helps quiet my mind in a noisy world,” you say.
