About the Authors
Dr. A.B. Susanto is the founder and a managing partner of The Jakarta Consulting Group (JCG). JCG is one of the most prominent local strategic management consulting firms in Indonesia, and has been around for over 30 years. He is also acting as a Commisionaire in GrowAsia Capital. Dr. Susanto is well-known for his ability to help big companies achieve their goals. His clients include some of the biggest players in their respective industries. Currently, he is an active board member in several organizations, both profit and nonprofit, and is the Dean of Economics for President University, Indonesia. He obtained his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Indonesia and his doctorate from Duesseldorf University, Germany. He also received a PhD in Management from the University of Padjajaran.
Patricia Susanto is the current CEO of The Jakarta Consulting Group. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California in 1999 and continues her studies in Psychology and Human Resources at the University of Indonesia and Griffith University, Australia. For the past 10 years she has taken an active interest in family business studies and research. As a part of The Jakarta Consulting Group services she has worked on developing family governance for family businesses in Indonesia.
