Karen was focused on burndown charts and tracking the completion of user stories in each sprint as a software development project manager. Her manager kept asking her how many stories they had completed. There were high hopes that after they had adopted agile, things would be better. This time, they seemed to be on track, but at the last minute, they had to pull the plug and could not go live for a crucial feature the customer was expecting.

Kumar is under pressure to reduce the number of bugs. His manager had made it clear that all eyes are on the bugs and we need to get them down.
