The reasons we turn to these digital platforms are complex.
These are some of the reasons we use them:
- Boredom
- Ego
- Social connection
- Communication
- Seeking social validation
- Learning
- Fun
- Fear
- Need to be needed
- Knowledge/information
- Habit
- Addiction
- Distraction (which breeds further distraction).
