Acknowledgments

Thanking everyone who has contributed directly or tangentially to the creation of a book is, for me, one of the best things about being an author and one of the most daunting—which, no doubt, explains why it is one of the last parts of a book I write. The thing I love about a book’s acknowledgments is that they are the publishing world’s credit roll to all who have made the work possible. And, as in movies, they are often overlooked by readers intent on getting into the first chapter. There are so many wonderful people who have, in ways large and small, made a difference in my life and, therefore, become a part of this book.
