The Painting
At the end of this chapter, you’ll be asked to prepare your own version of this project. You will learn how to add painted elements to a moving plate using a demonstration file so that your layer names and elements will match the figures. If you want to jump right into working over the moving plate, you can skip this section on creating the painting, and go to “Compositing the Painting over a Moving Plate” later in this the chapter. Be sure to come back and check out the techniques described in this section when you create your own version of New York 2100.
