Using Custom Brushes
As you work on the projects in this book, you’ll build your own custom brushes. What are custom brushes? They’re brushes with special characteristics turned on, including opacity, jitter, scatter, size, and color variation. The first brush that appears in the default Photoshop CS5 brush set, called Soft Round, has no custom brush characteristics. Start with this basic brush to examine the different parameters, one by one.
