Perspective Drawing

The entire last chapter was devoted to the principles of perspective for a reason. It forms a primary foundation of what you’ll do as a matte painter. This chapter will put those principles into practice. You’ll do a perspective drawing over the top of the castle concept painting. This will involve finding the horizon in the plate, setting up the vanishing points, and delineating the large forms.
