Be a pacifist in the talent war

No self-respecting business has ‘employees’ these days, they all have ‘talent’. Apparently, in order to survive, you have to win in the ‘global talent wars’ to attract and retain the very best you can afford.

Actually, your business should be able to survive with the lowest possible talent for each job role.

If your company requires unique, and possibly irreplaceable, individuals to do each job, you have more than a ‘talent’ problem. You also don’t have a business; you have a co-operative.
