There’s no prize for predicting the Flood

Good ideas are worthless.

You can spend all your life raving from the mountain-top about the future you can foretell. But the people who succeed are the ones who take action. Noah wasn’t immortalised because he predicted the Flood. It was because he built the Ark.

In business, you need to stop fretting about creating the perfect product. An imperfect idea brilliantly executed is always better than a perfect one that limps to market. At the point that product meets market, there’s always time to adjust and adapt. As an old banner at Apple’s HQ read: ‘Real artists ship.’
