The DOM in Context

In this part of the book, you will explore the Document Object Model (the DOM). You can achieve some complex effects using the elements and CSS properties I have shown you so far, but if you want to get total control of your HTML, you need to use JavaScript. The DOM is the connection between JavaScript and the contents of your HTML document. Using the DOM, you can add, remove, and manipulate elements.
